Future Leaders Community School: Kabiria-Kawangware Slum in Nairobi

We bless our Heavenly Father for his faithfulness in our lives. Words are not enough to express our joy for allowing God to use you to share the wonderful gift of food with us. This gift has really helped all students; especially those whose parents cannot afford to give them even one meal a day. We have seen student after student who have enrolled in our school with severe malnutrition bounce back in health. This to us is a testimony of the goodness of God! Now we are able to share with the students the love of God for them and they can evidently tell that God loves them, and also through the food they eat.
We are grateful to say that Please Pass the Bread helps us feed 287 students in our center. We serve them breakfast and lunch. And its not just food, its very good food which the children enjoy eating! The evidence of this is written on the student’s faces-that all is well with their young bodies and souls.
On the right photo is Simon Kioko age five. When he joined Future Leaders Community School the beginning of last year he had severe malnutrition. Nonetheless, because of the gift of well-balanced meals from the PPtB program, Simon is now a healthy and happy little boy as you can see.
And on the left photo is Patrick Kiumbuku age four. When Patrick joined the school he was severely under weight because his mother could not afford to feed him and his siblings. Before he joined our school you would find him outside our school staring at the other students eating their lunch. As a parent and a teacher I felt so sorry for him so I decided to enroll him in our school for free. In other words, he does not pay school fees. Wow! As you can see there is a remarkable difference in the boy’s health and well-being!
We give God all the glory for using you to bring back a smile on these faces! God bless you abundantly! We thank God for the gift of food. May the Lord richly bless YOU as He has promised He would in His Word.
May the lord who searches the hearts of men to reward them, do it to Please Pass the Bread and those who support this ministry. We declare PSALMS 20 over all your lives. Once again thank you so much.”
God bless you richly,
Daisy and the team at Future Leaders Community School
